By following these simple steps, you can use the Believia Digital BP 40A to get accurate and reliable blood pressure readings at home:
Step 1 : Install Batteries
Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the monitor. Insert four AA alkaline batteries according to the indicated polarity. Close the battery compartment cover.
Step 2 : Connect the Cuff
Locate the air plug on the cuff and the air socket on the left side of the monitor unit. Insert the air plug firmly into the air socket.
Step 3 : Prepare Your Arm
Remove any thick clothing from your left arm, as this can affect the accuracy of the reading. Sit down in a quiet place, preferably at a desk or table, with your back straight and supported. Rest your arm on a firm surface, such as a desk or table, with your palm facing upwards. Keep your legs uncrossed and your feet flat on the floor.
Step 4 : Rest and Relax
Sit quietly for at least 5 minutes before taking your blood pressure. This allows your heart rate and blood pressure to settle. Avoid smoking, eating, drinking, or exercising for at least 30 minutes before taking your blood pressure.
Step 5: Take Your Blood Pressure
